This helicopter, when registered to the West German Bundeswehr as Air Force 71+42 from August 4, 1969, was SOC and stored at Diepholz as noted in April 2001.
Preserved as owned by the Luftwaffen Museum der Bundeswehr in Berlin Gatow ever since.
This museum changed its name to the Militaer Historisches Museum (MHM) Berlin Gatow on October 1, 2011.
Repositioned inside hangar 7 since February 2013.
