Welcome to the HTDI helicopter database

Dear friends and colleagues in the international helicopter industry and community. I am delighted to finally be able to present the helicopter database

which is operated by myself and friends (the HTDI team).

We have created a platform that allows us to archive helicopter-related data for and with our photos, where every helicopter that has been mass-produced for military or civil use since 1946 has a place.

We have compiled some interesting facts about most helicopters, but we are still far from complete. So there is almost a CV for most helicopters built, provided this has been made public and brought to my attention, such as the model change from AS350B1 to AS350B2, but also accident reports and other information, which is only available in English and was written by me or one of the HTDI team. It is also possible to search by registrations, owners or other activities of a particular helicopter company, such as firefighting or agricultural flights. You can also display these as a list and sort them by S/N, registration or company name, as desired.

We are Frank Vorwerk, who has been interested in helicopters since 1982, and more than 250 helicopter enthusiasts living all over the world. The database is a private project and therefore not openly accessible. Companies wishing to use the data commercially are also welcome to do so for a fixed fee, enabling us to purchase photos from photo or press agencies that are important to us.

As we can never have enough photographers, we also need you for your photos or useful information. For more information, please feel free to contact me by email. I will reply as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Frank Vorwerk and the HTDI team.
