This helicopter was registered to East Germany as NVA-831 on March 25th, 1977, and operated by the MHG-18 Kurt Barthel from June 21st, 1977. It had to make a precautionary landing due to heavy vibrations at 12.07hrs on the December 2nd, 1982 at Doelitz near Gnoin (Kreis Teterow). Back in service till March 1991.
Re-registered with the German Bundeswehr as 94+12 and operated by the MFG Parow from April 1991 till 30.11.1994 as SOC.
Flown to the Marine Museum at Daenholm near Stralsund on November 29th, 1994.
This is a permanent loan by the German Marine. It was restored including new paint in 2022.
